Who we are
Vigiai is published by JZY Serviços Digitais (Brazilian company no. 66.793.980/0001-35), the controller of the data processed by the app and this site. Contact: contato@vigiai.online.
What stays on your device
Your name, your onboarding answers (age, screen time, tradition, prayer length), your journey and prayer days are saved on your phone. You can erase everything in Settings → “Delete my data from this device”.
Screen Time (app blocking)
Blocking uses Apple’s Screen Time permission. Apple gives Vigiai only encoded tokens for the apps you choose; Vigiai does not know the app names or see anything you do inside them. This never leaves your device.
Usage data (PostHog and Himetrica)
To learn what works, we record usage events with an anonymous identifier, in two analytics tools (PostHog and Himetrica): screens viewed, onboarding steps completed, prayers started and completed, paywall viewed, device model, language and approximate country. Answers in ranges (e.g. age 25–34) may be sent; text you type is never sent. You can turn this off in Settings → “Share anonymous usage data”.
Sensitive data: your religious tradition
Religious belief is sensitive personal data (LGPD art. 5(II); GDPR art. 9). Your tradition is only sent to our usage data if you turn on the sharing option when asked. Otherwise it stays on your device.
Subscription (Apple and RevenueCat)
Payment is handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous identifier and purchase history, never your card details.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. We do not use notifications for advertising.
Website
On this site we count visits anonymously (page, language, referring link and campaign), without advertising cookies. If you join the waitlist, we only use your email to tell you about the launch, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
International transfers
PostHog, Himetrica and RevenueCat process data on servers outside Brazil, with the safeguards required by LGPD and GDPR.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, portability and deletion of your data, and withdraw consent, at contato@vigiai.online. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Minors
Vigiai is intended for people aged 14 and over. Users under 18 should use it with a parent’s or guardian’s knowledge.
